La Spaziale have been one of the most respected Italian commercial espresso machine manufacturers for over 40 years, helping found UCIMAC, the Italian Coffee Machine Manufacturers Association, which has helped promote and develop Italian coffee machines across the world.

The founders of the La Spaziale company were designers for other espresso machine manufacturers from 1947, who decided in 1969 to develop their own style of machine that, through their unique heat exchange system, would produce better espresso, was simple in idea, easy to use and uncomplicated for an engineer to work on, should the need ever arise.
