Make sure your Gaggia always performs at its best

Filed under: Coffee Articles — Paula @ 10:55 am

If you want to ensure your domestic or commercial Gaggia coffee machine is working at its optimum level to produce the finest cup of coffee around it is very important to undertake regular de-scaling of your coffee machine. This is true for all coffee machines and not just Gaggia.

As Gaggia coffee machines are some of the most popular coffee machines around, the brand is always quick to point out that regular de-scaling of coffee machines is necessary, even if you use filtered water to make your coffee.

The use of filters only serves to reduce the scale build up and does not eliminate it altogether.
If you have a domestic Gaggia espresso machine it is vital it is regularly maintained, just as it is with commercial coffee machines. If you want the machine to continue to work for many years to come and produce a consistent performance, like all machinery and equipment it requires de-scaling on a regular basis.

Do not use any de-scaler though. It is best to use an acceptable de-scaler to meet the needs of the coffee machine you are using. Many online coffee specialists stock a quantity of Gaggia’s own brand de-scaler to ensure customers can de-scale their machines on a regular basis, and as according to the manufacturer’s warranty guidelines.

One of the most popular types of coffee beans around at the moment is made by the Italian coffee producer Lavazza. If you have not tried it yet, or indeed heard about this company, then read on to find out more.

The company has been blending coffee since the early 1900s, when it was founded by Luigi Lavazza, so it has certainly been around a bit. The experience from blending the best quality coffee beans together for over 100 years has lead to the spread in popularity of the brand all around the world.

The Italian espresso maker is now famous for its concept of blending and mixing the best carefully selected coffee beans from different origins to create many harmonious and great tasting products.

The most sought after coffee at the moment is the Lavazza Super Crema blend which combines sweet Brazilian coffee beans with the milder Central and South American coffee beans. The result is a full flavoured and intense coffee blend with a robust body. The tasty lingering aftertaste leaves you thirsty for more.

The coffee is specially packaged to keep in the freshness of the coffee and maintain its aroma. This makes it an ideal coffee for everyone. These coffee beans can be used in traditional Italian coffee machines as well as commercial machines.

If you like a darker Italian coffee, why not try illycaffe?

Filed under: Coffee Articles — John @ 9:49 am

The illy coffee blend is produced in Trieste, Italy and is available in three roast variations: normal, dark roast or decaffeinated. This makes it simple to choose a blend to try. Whether you like to grind the beans yourself, purchase your coffee pre-ground or if you use coffee pods for your coffee machine, illy will be able to accommodate your needs.

The history of illycafe goes way back to 1933 when the company’s founder Francesco Illy decided to concentrate his business on espresso coffee. He was to invent the first automatic coffee machine which substituted compressed air for steam.

The illycafe company sources only Arabica coffee beans which are considered to have a richer taste and lower caffeine content than other coffee beans.

The illy method of coffee blending uses a pressurisation technique to maintain the coffee aroma and preserves its coffee quality. Air is extracted from the cans and inert gases are used to keep a constant level of pressure. illy were the first company to make use of this way of preserving coffee.

This great tasting coffee brand produces dark roasted and normal roasted coffee beans which can provide you with a pleasurable cup of coffee.
